2009 U-FLI Showcase of Dogs - Barkin' In Memphis Flyball Tournament

Please note:

On October 6th, the Showcase of Dogs board rearranged the entire show. All dog sport venues will be indoors. The flyball lanes and crating have moved from the dome and D wing to the west pavilion. Crating will be isolated with rod and drapes but will be in the same room as racing.

The racing schedule was revised on 10/7/09. Two races were switched on Sunday and Friday was renumbered. The latest version is

Crating & Runback: Crating and Racing has moved into the west pavilion room of the Agricenter. The building will be open on Friday for setup. To see a layout map of the building follow this link. The runback area for the racing lanes is a minimum of 65 feet.
Electricity: There are wall receptacles along the walls and columns of the crating area.  You may use an extension cord to bring power to your area.  Please tape down your extension cord in walkways with non residue tape.
Parking Passes: Parking passes will not be given.  You will be required to pay to park. The showcase committee have not announced the price for parking.  You will be allowed each day before the event begins and after the event ends to load and unload next to the building.  Please be considerate of your time because we have several teams and other exhibitors in other sports loading and unloading.  Please be mindful of the parking rules established by the showcase committee.  They will tow vehicles left in loading and unloading areas.
Admissions: The showcase committee will be charging admission at the gates.  You can pick up wrist bands at check in for your team members.  These wrist bands will gain you access to the show for the entire weekend. You can download the Flyball Admission Entry Pass from this link. It will allow you to enter the show Friday and Saturday morning until 10 am without an entry fee. Be sure to pickup your flyball entry wristbands from the score table before 10 am Saturday morning.
RV Parking: The RV park is divided into three sections at the time of the show. One section is for everyday camping and the other two sections are dedicated to the Showcase of Dogs event. One section will be south of the main building this is where the flyball exhibitors will park.Go to the following link to reserve your space. http://www.showcaseofdogs.org/rvinfo.asp There will not be full hook up sites available, only sites with water and electricity are available. Meals: The show site will have several vendors. The show site is off of Germantown Parkway. Germantown Parkway has several eating establishments.  You can find any of your major fast food restaurants.  There are other restaurants such as but not limited too: Outback, Abners, Chili's, Perkins, El Porton, Corky's, Fox n Hound, Hueys, Applebees, Jason's Deli, Moe's, Pizza Hut within minutes of the show site.
Veterinarian: The event normally has a mobile vet on-site.  In the event you cannot find the show vet, the nearest vet is located north on Germantown Parkway. PetMed Veterinary Emergency - 830 N. Germantown Pkwy, #105, Cordova, TN  38018 Phone: 901.624.9002 It is a 24 hour emergency animal hospital.

You must have a run number for your dog for them to be eligible to run on a team. Internet access will not be available on-site.

Remember to pick up after your dog.  The show site will have several areas designated as doggie relief areas.

The Showcase Committee requests that dogs are  walked on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
